Cassian Sweeney, BA (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy (First Class honours)

Are you wondering if counselling could be helpful for you?

That will depend on whether the pain of staying where you are is worth risking the pain of change.
The most important aspect of counselling is the nurturing, trusting non-judgmental relationship between you and your counsellor, and this can hel
p you explore your situation from a new perspective, while learning new resources and coping skills to handle difficulties. Whether a past or current difficulty, counselling can help you examine your thinking to see if it is getting you the results you want, or hindering you in your objectives.

I won't give you advice, you have your friends for that, but I will help you examine what options are available to you, and what needs more clarity and focus to attain your goals. Although there is no magic dust in counselling, it can enable you to discover, that by learning more about yourself, respecting and trusting yourself more, that change can be achieved. Face to face counselling is more usual, but I provide online therapy also.
